We begin at the Old Rectory Killedmond, Borris with tea/coffee and home-made biscuits and scones at 12 noon. Here we’ll have an introductory chat about the day’s adventures and then off to the Blackstairs or the Barrow…. a short drive from the Old Rectory.
After the tour we’ll return to Killedmond where we will name all we have found on the walk. Famous naturalists such as Robert Lloyd Praeger who wrote the book The Way that I Went loved these hills. We will show you what he discovered and so muchmore.
A good old-fashioned Rectory Tea will be included in the price at the end of the walk. Most food is organically produced at Killedmond.
